Answers about the programme, eligibility, consultations, cost, collection, storage and privacy. Treatment is prescribed only if a doctor decides it is appropriate for you.

About the programme

What is the EHH Healthcare weight‑loss programme?

It is a doctor-led programme for weight loss using prescription GLP‑1 injections. You have a video consultation with a doctor registered with the Malaysian Medical Council, at Klinik Lai in Johor Bahru. If the doctor decides the treatment is right for you, it is dispensed at the clinic for you to collect — in person, or by a courier you arrange.

Is this a real clinic?

Yes. EHH Healthcare Group Sdn Bhd (1294289U) operates Klinik Lai at No. 42, Jalan Setia Tropika 1/24, 81200 Johor Bahru. You can visit it.

What is a GLP‑1 weight‑loss injection?

It is a prescription medicine given as an injection, usually once a week, that you give yourself at home. It works on the systems that regulate appetite and how full you feel. It is prescribed and supervised by a doctor as part of a wider plan, not used on its own.

Does it hurt?

The injection uses a very fine needle and goes just under the skin, usually in the stomach, thigh or upper arm. Most people describe it as a brief sting. You will be shown how to do it.

Eligibility & safety

Who cannot be treated?

Anyone who has, or has a close family member who has had, medullary thyroid cancer or multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2; anyone who has had acute pancreatitis; anyone who is pregnant or may be pregnant; and anyone who has previously had a serious allergic reaction to this type of treatment. These are absolute exclusions.

Are there side effects?

Yes. The most common are nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, constipation and stomach discomfort, especially when starting treatment or increasing a dose. There are less common but more serious risks too. Your doctor will go through all of this with you before prescribing anything.

Consultation

Can I choose my doctor?

No. You choose your appointment date and time, and we assign a doctor who is available then. All of our doctors are registered with the Malaysian Medical Council.

What if the doctor decides treatment is not right for me?

The doctor will explain why, and may suggest another approach or refer you for an in-person examination. The consultation fee is not refunded, because the doctor's assessment is the service you paid for.

Can I reschedule?

Yes. If you need to change your appointment, please do so at least 24 hours in advance using the link in your confirmation email. You may be assigned a different doctor when you reschedule.

Cost & payment

How much is the consultation?

RM 80 — currently free for the first 100 patients.

Why is the treatment price not shown?

Because what is appropriate for you depends on the doctor's assessment. Your doctor will confirm the cost and the payment method with you during your consultation, and you can decide not to go ahead.

Is the consultation fee refundable?

No. It is not refunded if the doctor decides treatment is not appropriate for you, or if you do not attend without changing your appointment at least 24 hours in advance.

Delivery & storage

How do I get my treatment?

Two ways. You can collect it from Klinik Lai in Setia Tropika, Johor Bahru at no charge, or you can arrange a same-day courier such as Grab or Lalamove to collect it for you. You book the courier and pay for it directly.

Can you post it to me?

No. Ordinary parcel services such as Pos Laju are not temperature-controlled and can take several days, so we will not release your treatment to one. It has to be collected in person or by a same-day courier.

How is it packaged?

In an insulated box with cooling packs, inside plain outer packaging that does not show what is inside or that it came from a clinic. There is no charge for packaging.

Who is responsible if something goes wrong on the way?

We are responsible up to the point it leaves our counter — the right treatment, in date, stored correctly and packed properly. After that it is with you, because the courier is one you have booked and paid for. Check it with our staff before it leaves, and keep the journey short.

I live far from Johor Bahru. Can I still do this?

Possibly, but think it through first. Your treatment has to stay cool, and the longer the journey the more risk you carry. Talk to your doctor about whether it is practical for you before committing.

Privacy

What happens to my health information?

This website does not collect your health information. When the separate booking system becomes available, it will show you its own privacy notice before you provide any personal or health information. Our Privacy Notice explains what happens when you use this website.

Will the packaging show what is inside?

No. Outer packaging is plain and does not indicate the contents or that it came from a clinic.
